more wasted time "Collecting"?
The only good thing I can really say comes out of this hobby is lessons, one learned 2-today? Regardless of how amazing an item or fad is or once was? Rarely do you see it come back as strong if at all? Please correct me if wrong, Although after looking over all 50 or so of them, we found only one, possibly two? That have a monetary value of $3.00 or little more? If they have the original tag? And naturally, with the “MIDAS” NOT touch I was born with, these in fact did not have tags etc. Can this be possible? Aren’t "BEANIES BABIES" almost like priceless? Wouldn’t the values merely go up and down a tad? Than even out and settle in at a strong value ,with an arrow going up? Because I could of sworn “Beanie Babies”, were, or rather, hopefully still are like the next Barbie? Or GI Joe? RIGHT? Oh, keep an eye out for next post, I will talk about getting burned again by D.C Comics, for all of you savvy investors like myself whom thought at the time, it may be a very wise move to purchase as many “Superman Comes Back 2 Life”. Comics as possible. You do remember? The “White Bagged” issue? Promising an even better return than the incredible “Death Of Superman” issue, Ya know that cool “Black Bagged” edition, that everybody just near killed to get at least just one copy of, knowing within 5-10 yrs it would be close to priceless. REMEMBER THAT CON????? I purchased my first “Death OF Superman” for a bargain price of $75.00. Not bad huh? That was my first one, than add about $50.00 or so more bucks to each additional issue purchased, I’m sorry, that you “INVESTED” in. I was one of the fortunate guys to have invested in 20 copies. DON’T HATE ME……lol, anyways? We can discuss creative ways to get rid of the billions, possibly trillions of the infamous “White Bag” issues , we all got raped by buying, I get people threatening to sue me, if I dare attempt to give them a copy. I have several restraining orders on me, BY RELATIVES? Because I thought they may at the very least? Be cool stocking stuffers at Xmas.????

antique sewing machine update, and another stupid purchase
I blame society for this addiction. It is the worst addiction you can imagine. Anyway? To bring you up to date on my "great" sewing machine find at a yard sale, I gave the entire pile to a musician friend of mine, whom swore he can make a couple really cool guitar effects pedals out of some of the parts. Moving on, I feel kind of guilty once again. I kind of got this rare instrument, for practically nothing, from a "motivated seller", yeah,i close this deal for about a lil under $50.00. Envious? I am now a proud owner of a rare NOT, pump organ, popular for about 2 weeks max, during the eighteenth century. What a beaut too, I gotta tell ya. The wood alone is worth a whole lot. Don't believe me? Fine. Google it. "reed organ" or "pump organ".Ok how many times did you read "free you just pick up"? At least one million or two? How many people are trying to play this sort of "Savior of the pump organ"? Countless guys are pleading for all of us out hear to have a heart and assist him in saving this poor, wretched little organ" from death, than they actually plead for us to "Adopt it" as well? I've read, "Oh this rare artifact is destined to grow in value," Bla bla bla etc, my quistion is why are they giving them away than?Gold is destined to go up in value too, nobody really struggles to give gold away. Right when I added this rare instrument to my holdings, I too quickly noticed why folk don't like it. #1 It's UGLY. #2 It sounds UGLY. Have you ever been annoyed by a thing, or piece of furniture that always seems to be in the way? YOU WAY? So you find yourself wanting to kick it often? Or worst? Well if this is your thing, may I strongly suggest a reed/pump organ purchase, or just get one of your own for free, theres many to choose from. The hypocrites that are attemting to create a "buzz" or demand for these gems, are offering the one they themselves own to you for free, So HELLO? What do I do, I jumped on it.Now I may possibly need to fork out 40-50 bucks to scrap it.
my recent find
I'd like to consider my special area of expertise, or rather its so happens that just about 97% of all my holdings, I can find being given away for free, if someones willing just to pick up on craigslist and others. I "aquired" this very old "vintage" sewing machine. Ya. I feel bad because the lady was allready willing to part with this precious gem for practically nothing. But there I had to go again, being the shrewd investor I am, I just had to walk out of this yard sale with the Item 100%free. Yep. Jeolous? You are huh? Wish you were there first huh? Well like they say? "Early bird catches the worm" etc. Anyways, ofcourse I shouldnt have to mention that the machine was in pieces, with over 3/4 of the pieces missing? And this machine has'nt seen any sewing action since 1923, the year manufactured. Well look out for my next blog and I'll bring you up to date on this one huh? But do note thus far, even after complete total restoration, I still see people trying to give it away left and right. Almost like you'd get the feelin folk are disgusted just merely having in their possession or something.
